Functional Statement:

To take charge and performs all agricultural services of the province.

Objectives:

To undertake all the activities necessary in the implementation of agricultural services.

Activities:

The Provincial Agriculturist shall take charge of the agriculture office, and shall:

• Initiate and provide direction in planning, development and administering the agricultural development of the province
• Provide agricultural extension and deliver technical services to farmers in order to promote agricultural productivity
• Coordinate and establish linkage with other agricultural agencies, both government and non government organization on the prosecution and implementation of coordinated and common programs for the province
• Exercise such other powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance
